Annealing the copper gives subtle variations in color throughout
the piece. |

Hubcap
My
first lightsculpture. Chrome hubcap, antique copper heater,
LEDs, fiber optics, compact fluorescent bulb. One switch turns
on the LEDs which light up fiber optic cable that terminates
around the edge of the piece, glowing in alternating red and
blue. The other switch turns on the CF bulb in the middle. |
